IGF Leadership Panel - Call for Nominations
All stakeholders are invited submit names of candidates from all regions and stakeholder groups to serve on the inaugural Panel for the 2022 and 2023 annual cycles. The deadline for nominations is 29 November 2021.

The Sixteenth Annual Meeting of the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) will be hosted by the Government of Poland under the overarching theme: ‘’Internet United’’. The programme is built around the six issue areas.

The 16th annual IGF meeting will be hosted by the Government of Poland in Katowice from 6-10 December, under the overarching theme: Internet United.
The Preparatory and Engagement Phase is more than an introduction to this year’s IGF. It aims to engage people in IGF discussions and identify synergies between different activities to facilitate cooperation.

The Internet Governance Forum (IGF) serves to bring people together from various stakeholder groups as equals, in discussions on public policy issues relating to the Internet. While there is no negotiated outcome, the IGF informs and inspires those with policy-making power in both the public and private sectors. At their annual meeting delegates discuss, exchange information and share good practices with each other. The IGF facilitates a common understanding of how to maximize Internet opportunities and address risks and challenges that arise.
